West Maple Upcoming Reminders
A special thank you to all of the students and families that donated to the Rutherford Rally. West Maple presented this BPS teacher with a check for $500.00.

  • March 12th - 1st and 2nd grade vocal music evening performance – 7:00 p.m. in the gym
  • March 13th – 5th grade Graduation party meeting in the cafeteria from 9-10 a.m.
  • March 13th – Guest Reader Day at 2:00 p.m.
  • March 15th – School Spirit Day – Crazy Clothes Day

West Maple PTAUpcoming Meeting: Our next PTA meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 18th at 9:00 a.m. in the cafeteria. If you are planning on attending, we are encouraging you to BAF – BRING A FRIEND!
Variety Show: The Variety Show is coming to West Maple! Please mark your calendars for 6:30 pm on Friday, March 8 to come see our talented and confident 3-5 graders as well as our staff perform various acts.
Book Fair: The book fair will take place during conferences on March 20 and March 21st. Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, to assist children with their wish lists prior to the book fair, to work during the book fair, and to help take down the book fair. Staff Conference Dinner: The PTA is hosting dinner for our wonderful staff on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Please contact Michelle Kroll at llorkm@yahoo.com if you would like to donate a dish.
Open Leadership Positions for 2013-2014 PTA Board: There are several open leadership positions for the 2013-2014 school year:

Assistant Vice President
Assistant Treasurer
All interested candidates should submit their interest as soon as possible. A slate of candidates will be presented at the March PTA meeting. Voting will take place at the April PTA meeting. All positions will begin starting in May, 2013. The terms for these positions are two years but in the second year, they will transition to the President, Vice President and Treasurer positions, respectively.
